BSRTC was created under the statutory acts of the Government of Bihar and became functional in 1950 after the state government nationalized earlier services. In a pioneering move, the corporation has entered into multiple agreements with Gireesh Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd (GIPL) to operate luxury coaches (Mercedes Benz & Volvo) covering cities within the state of Bihar as well as neighbouring states.
Connectivity
BSRTC traverses the length and breadth of Bihar and also connects commuters with West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Jharkhand. Premium Volvo air conditioned buses ply mostly in inter-state routes. There are eight routes between Bihar-Jharkhand, six routes between Bihar-Chhattisgarh and nine routes between Bihar-Odisha. Nine buses ply on four different routes between Patna and Jamshedpur, Patna and Ranchi, Gaya and Ranchi, and Gaya and Jamshedpur with new routes being added constantly.

Sir,
Why the local bus operators for Uttar Bihar like Chapra, Siwan, Gopalganj, Darbhanga, Motihari etc.. charge passengers double fare by making the corona virus excuse. Is there any solution to this or the passengers have to suffer for all this. Where I have to complain regarding all this. Is there any law still prevailing in Bihar.

The only state which has put invalid number on state bus transportation.
This is so shameful, why bihar never focuses and small service and give wrong number or invalid number so ther are free from all the responsibility of taking call and responding.
Why are you all paid? For sitting in AC room? Or to discharge your duty
Anytime you call any website of bihar it is non functional and numbers are either wrong or nobody picks aand then people wonder why state is so so backward.

With regards I would like to state that there is no bus service available in the route of Maner-Danapur road route. Previously One year before 2 buses are being launched in this route but after the road construction in this route bus travel got hindered . There are lot of daily Travellers in this route but due dependency of auto rishkaw whose service is not as per high fare charge & inconvenience of traveling people suffer a lot .So I request Bihar Government Travel Agency to continue bus services as soon as possible. For this I would be highly grateful to you.
