    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My name is Balaji Nadar from New Panvel, Navi Mumbai. On Monday, October 30, 2023 I went to Khandeshwar railway station to renew my monthly local train pass for 3 months. For payment of Rs. 790, I used my standard chartered bank credit card no. xxxx xxxx xxxx 2003. Mr. Vishal Lokhande was on the chair, and he only swiped my above-mentioned credit card in the POS machine after 2 tries and a long wait. The charge slip came out from POS machine, and I also got message from standard chartered bank of Rs 709 at 21:11 p.m.

    But Mr. Vishal Lokhande refused to give a pass, saying the payment had not hit the system, so a pass could not be given after 30 minutes of waiting. i asked him for a refund, but he refused and said to meet Station Master Bhakti between 10a.m. and 5 p.m. Also, he himself wrote his name and Bhakti Madam's name on the charge slip for reference.

    Hence, on November 1, 2023, around 11:12 a.m., I met Bhakti Madam at Khandeshwar Station, Navi Mumbai, and explained to her the situation and also showed her my charge slip. She said it would take 72 hours for a refund. But I haven't gotten any refund messages from the railway or from the standard chartered bank.
