Complaint Cancellation of trip by cab driver

    On 06.12.2021, I booked cab No UP14 T1402 (driver name: NADEEM) for going to Chandni Chowk from Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi-110091. In spite of having made number of calls to the driver, he did not come to the designated place in Mayur Vihar for more than 30 minutes. When finally the driver picked up the phone, he was very rude and arrogant. He refused to go and instead cancelled the trip on his own without caring to inform me.
    Thereafter I have been getting messages from Uber to pay the sum of Rs. 25.51 towards cancellation charges. This is not justified. Since I did not cancel the trip, it was the driver who cancelled the trip. Therefore I am not under obligation to pay for the cancellation charges.
    I am a senior citizen of 73 years regular user of uber services. I do not expect this type of harrassment from uber.
    I lodged a complaint through email on 07.12.2021, but I find that my email has been deleted from the records.
