I am the proprietor of KAMAL OPTICALS, which was taken on rent from MR GOPIKRISHNA AGARWAL since 1986 and ever since I am the tenant and am paying my rent. I hold the valid contract to this shop along with all the rent payment receipt from past 29 years.
On last Wednesday, April 8th 2015 12:30pm the enforcement from Nagar Nigam Bhopal (BMC) came and broke my shop without any previous notice (goods damaged including front shutter and back wall worth RS. 5lacs) saying that it is an illegal encroachment as the shop is a way to the corridor. If this was an illegal encroachment then how did the owner made a shop on this ground of BMC and what was the BMC doing from last 29 years??
On asking the order from the BMC workers they did not show any notice/letter and asked me to come to their office and find out (on enquiring in Bhopal municipal corporation from last 5 days no official is able to show me the copy of the order that was issued to let the encroachment break, instead they said that the record can’t be produced).
Also on our protest to not damage our working shop, they threaten us to police fir. On asking to lodge a complaint with the local police station the police denied lodging a fir, rather after many trials only a request letter was accepted.
Now i and my family is forced to leave the shop that my father started who is no more. Under such circumstances the owners sons MR AVINASH AND LOKESH AGARWAL are now threatening us to leave the premises asap (as it is heard in the market that they have sold the said property and will dismantle it to make a new building) and this encroachment story is a conspiracy against us as tenants to leave the shop which also involves some BMC officials who took this step without a previous notice.

Kindly help us immediately to save our only living as we are left with no choice.
Looking forward to some urgent action ASAP
