    This is to draw your attention to the fact that I, Dr. Nabanita Sen booked a car (License Plate: WB19H6899, Driver: Basanta ) from my residence to reach Marwari Relief Society Hospital, Kolkata (Nearby location from my workplace)on 03.08.2019 Saturday.

    From the very beginning the driver expressed his unwillingness to go to my destination as he had opted for home destination.

    Further, he insisted me to get down from the car thrice (Near Maa flyover, Seven point crossing, Park Street). It was tough to me as I had bags, books and some important files with me.

    Yet I said the driver to drop me at Park Street and requested him to end the trip as the assigned duty to the driver was not my fault. I assured him that I would communicate the Uber office expressing my experience of the day.
    The driver didn’t agree to do that.

    I got down at Marwari Relief Society Hospital and paid in cash Rs. 235/-.

    Surprisingly I discovered that my Uber ride facility had stopped when I tried to book a cab to go to a hospital to visit my husband admitted there.

    I received a mail from Uber that the driver had reported non payment of fare.

    It is not a matter of the amount or rupees. It is a matter of humiliation and unwanted hazards due to the dishonest behaviour of the driver and the audacity of the same.

    I request you to take necessary action and oblige.
