Cochin International Airport is located in Nedumbassery (a suburb), about 30 km northeast of Kochi in Kerala, India. It is the busiest and largest airport in the state. The airport handles about 13,000 passengers every day. There are 9 domestic airlines and 17 international airlines connecting Cochin with nearly 30 destinations countrywide and worldwide. Cochin Airport is the primary base for Air India Express. It is the focus city for Air India, GoAir, IndiGo, Jet Airways, JetLite and SpiceJet. The airport has both arrival hall and departure hall. Both halls have a capacity to handle about 1,200 passengers per hour separately. There are 27 Emigration counters available at Departure and 23 Immigration counters at the Arrival Terminal.

.
In view of the recent incident at one of our airports , I would like to bring to your notice the issue of substandard behavior from the CISF staff.
The attitude of CISF staff when interacting with passengers is , disgusting , to say the least.
It will be in the interest of all concerned ,to address this issue & resolve it , before it reaches alarming proportions.

my brother in law Mr Jeff Varghese travelled on 24.07.2015 from COK - Singapore-New Zeland lost his one of the baggage out of 6 he loaded in the flight upon arrival in NW. the detail of the baggage

as per Singapore airline the baggage has not been loaded/scanned into the flight from boarding.
Kindly look into all the possibility to trace the cargo.

Dear sir
I came from Kuwait on 28th July by KU351 at 4.40am and i lost my shoulder bag somewhere in the Airport between Immigration counter and Duty free shop.
Contents in the bag was my medical treatment file, sweets, perfume and some home made food.
Its a Laptop shoulder bag, blue colour, Cappa brand.
I have approached the service counter and they asked me to submit a complaint in white paper and I did so.
Kindly do the necessary to find my bag.

Hello,
I was taking a flight from cochin to Kuala Lumpur at 23h30 yesterday. When i passed the security check, i didnt check my belongings because i couldnt imagine employees at security check can steal while on duty and then i realized that they kept my tablet. I have no words to express how i feel about being stolen at a security check airport. Its just unbelievable and i am thinking about pressing charges against the airport.

I am shoja jose residing in cochin. I have travelled to doha two times u nder tourist visit visa.The two times immigration officer try to block my visit.whats the reason behind it.i want a genuine explanation.tourist visa means a visa that allows a person to visit a cou try as tourist.no sponser is needed for this visa.then why always trying to block my visit.if again this happens i wil take this issue to high officials.As i am lady they are behaving very badly.

I am an Indian origin Australian. I am very frustrated about the attitude of the Immigration officers at Cochin Airport. Most of them unfriendly, unhelpful.
As a person travel around the world this airport staff is the worst in the world.
Please train them customer service.Since they are the first point of contact to the State, they should be polite and helpful.

I would like to bring to your kind attention that two passengers traveling from Kathmandu via Delhi to Kochi by Air India 048 arriving on 18-Apr-2017 at 21.10 could not be located by us at the airport.
We called Air India toll free number and they informed that passengers have boarded from Delhi.

Sir,
On my way to Indore from Cochi on 4th April by Indigo flight (6E 369) I had a very bad experience from the cial security. I happened to have a foreign lighter in my hand baggage. It was included in my bag inadvertently. I came to Kerala by train. It was packed in the bag at that time. While returning it happened to be in the handbag. The security showed an extraordinary interest in capturing it, considering It as contraband. It was without any fuel inside and could do no harm to anyone. I would like to get it back as it is very precious to me. Why do you snatch a precious thing from its owner without any valid reason. Please advise me where should I lodge a complaint to get it back.
