Today on 26.9.2020 I have submitted the documents for gas transfer to my name from my deceased father's Sh Virander Kumar's name
At Amargeet gas service

I am surprised why am I forced to make the security amount of 2935 when deceased was my father and Transfer of connection is getting in the family itself.
Apart from this there is no change in the address also as I was living with my father at his registered address in New Moti nagar,new Delhi 110015.
As per the rules of Petroleum and natural gas the SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL REMAIN SAME IN CASE OF TRANSFER OF CONNECTION WITHIN THE FAMILY.
However the differential between the original security deposit and prevailing rates will be charged only in case of person other than the family member.
Once again I need to understand that why am I forced to pay charges of 2935 when I am daughter of sh. Virander Kumar.
