Dear Sir/Madam,
I visited Doctor's ( Dr. Indranil Deb registration number 54441 WBMC Mobile :9547568484) chamber (cum residence) at midnapur on 19th May 2018 for a routine eye checkup . ( there was a minor pain in the right eye) .
The Vision was checked and it was 6/6 in both eyes . Then the doctor's assistant ( name somak) inserted certain
chemical in the eyes in the name of applanation tonometry ( to measure eye pressure ).
There after there was severe irritation , redness, itching in the eyes which persisted.
Even vision stared distorting in left eye.
On contacting the doctor again, on 20th, the doctor checked the eyes and said that it was OK.
(However Vision was not checked )
But the loss of vision and image distortion aggravated .The doctor was contacted again over phone, he became
extremely defensive. However, he asked to come on the next day morning at Rotary eye hospital midnapur with the prescription
On visit to Rotary eye hospital midnapur, the vision was checked and this time it deteriorated to 6/9 .The Doctor wrote a
prescription indicating allergic reaction and advised a drug (OLOTAP DS which he gave from physician sample).
He also overwrote the earlier prescription indicating the left eye vision to be 6/9.
The problem persisted and the on further visit to the doctor he avoided the problem and asked to consulted other doctor.
On consultation with other doctors it was found that the left eye has been affected by CSCR
( rare retina disease that leads to irreversible vision loss) .
I never had any problem in the left eye and it was just becaused insertion of some chemicals by the doctor's assistant
the problem has stared .
Though both the doctor and his assistant are trying to defend themselves but I suspect serious lapse and negligence in treatment
which has led to such catastrophe . My personal and professional life is seriously impacted and I want an impartial
investigation in the matter .
The surface problem still persisting in both the eyes ( irritation,dryness,redness etc) and the left eye is seriously
effected with distorted vision.
Please help !

The space provided for Sudoku in TOI Kolkata edition in the entertainment page in Calcutta Times is very minimal! Compared to other editions like Bangalore Times and Delhi Times, the Sudoku space in Calcutta Times is less than half the space.
I am a senior citizen living in Kolkata but visiting Bangalore and Delhi for almost two to four months every year. I get pleasure in solving the Sudoku puzzle everyday in both Bangalore and Delhi, whereas in Kolkata edition solving Sudoku becomes a headache for me. Space provided is so small that frequently I have to give rest to my eyes as they are put to lot of strain!
I would therefore plead that kindly do some changes in the layout of the pages of Calcutta Times so that the space provided be more and the numbers printed on the 3 x 3 boxes are properly visible and adequate space remains for solving the puzzle.

This is to state that my live session on women empowerment and Metoo was to be held today on 27th December 2018 at 3:30pm by Speaking Tree Manager Ms. Ishita Sharma. But a day before I get a message by some person from the office that now it cannot be conducted for unexplained reasons. I came to know that her excuse was that she doesnot have time as if the guest you have invited has all the time in the world. Is this the way how you treat your guests for live session? When everything was confirmed then what happened? Anyhow she is so unprofessional that she didn’t even care of giving me a call or send an apology mail from her end. We are not some roadside people but people you have earned name in a circuit through hard work. This is absolutely not the way to be treated.

The TOI we receive in sector 50 Gurgaon often has many pages missing even though the number of pages printed in page 1 is usually more.
The newspaper vendor claims he has not received those pages.
Today we received 50pages though page 1 states 66 pgs.
PL look into this and revert.

I had taken an offer from times of India, to get registered under times mega plus offer on 20/5/2018 under which I paid a sum of RS.895 via cheque to get newspaper for 15 months. They are delivering us newspaper from 1st December 2018. But they also had to deliver us 15 coupons that we have to give to newspaper delivery boy. but we have not received any coupons yet. Newspaper boy keeps asking for coupons every month. I have complained to them many times on no. 8800794795. But they ever time say we will deliver it in 1 week but never delivered. I want my coupons from the company immediately.
