The Chandigarh Electrical Department is established on 2 May 1967. it is very responsible for Transmission and distribution of power supply up to consumers and continuous power supply available to each Dist of Chandigarh.the peak demand of UT electricity department has touched 323 mw on dated 24 May 2010 which was met from different central and state generating stations.Chandigarh electrical generating capacity is very powerful.At present the Chandigarh electrical station is receiving to 51% of its power though Mohali and 9% in Dhulkote and 40% in Nalagarh.its has a transmission network which comprises of one NO. 220 kv sub station at Kishangarh Manimajra and 66 kv sub stations.at present The Chandigarh electricity Department in 197931 consumers which include 1,69,288 domestic consumers 24,619 commercial consumers. it provided full electricity and power of Chandigarh Peoples.

Good Morning
Hi Sir,
I am writing to bring it to you notice about Electricity Department Yesterday, We are cutting main
wires more time without any information due to causes is My LED, Set of Box and all other peripheral are Burnt
them who is responsible for this.Immediately i call to electricity department(01722692807) but
helpdesk department is misbehaving them. Then i visit the electricity department (Sec-40B) and he is
not register my complaint and arguing them and i requested but he didn't write my complaint
what is this helpdesk is support for customer bu this electrician to harassment for any customer everytime.
Please I requested to You strictly action against for helpdesk support and electricity department of Sec-40B.

Hi sir,
This is so rediculous from the depetment oart, they are not picking calls , in our bay one side of houses are having lights whereas our lights are always nd this is so ao disgusting from the department side they dont bother to pick call amd help us.
Called them almost twenty times on this 0172-2696893, please help and push them to work for god sake atleast necause what i have seen is they dont listen to others.

सविनय निवेदन है कि हमारे कुछ घरो हाउस नंबर 1 से 24 ग्राम किशनगढ़ चंडीगढ़ की लाईट पिछले एक हफ्ते से रोज रात को दस बजे बंद हो जाती है और सुबह 2 बजे या फिर पूरी रात नहीं आती। यह परेशानी अगर एक दिन की होती तो झेली जा सकती है लेकिन यह हररोज का ही उपक्रम है जिससे कि बच्चों व् खासकर बृद्ध लोगों को बहुत परेशानी होती है और हम लोग स्वयं भी दिनभर ड्यूटी करने के बाद रात को आराम करने की अपेक्षा से घर पहुँचते हैं लेकिन जैसे ही सोने का समय आता है बिजली बंद हो जाती है।
पूरी रात जागते हुए गुज़र रही है जिसके कारण मानसिक व् शारीरिक उत्पीड़न हो रहा है।
लोकल JE साहिब को कईबार बुलाकर भी समस्या से अवगत करवाया गया लेकिन कोई स्थाई समाधान करने की जगह टेम्परेरी चल पात्रु समाधान करके निकल लेते हैं।
इसलिए समस्या का तुरंत स्थाई समाधान निकाला जाये। अगर लोगों के एयर कंडीशंस की बजह से लोड की परेशानी है तो वह बंद करवाए जाएँ। --

On 15-09-2019 around 4.30pm from electricity person come to note down the reading an over area in sector 47d chandigarh. He open the meter and taken the reading, not close the meter. I personally go to that man why he kept the meter open his reply was not good. Know a day it raining session if water go in side who will be the responsible.
