We want to stop broadcast of serial Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh – Starts 20th March, 8.30 PM on Life OK.

1--- Defamation of an eminent historical personality which can’t appear to defend himself or give any clarification on his character assassination by serial producers,
2- Distortion of glorious Sikh history by painting the Sikh king of great Sikh kingdom in northern part of Indian sub-continent from 1796 to 1849. The great Maharaja is presented clean shaved in his youth and applying tilak-a hindu ritual under recitation of Sikh greetings and battle cries.
3- A wave of dissatisfaction and anger is getting high against this serial as1 Sikh sentiments are hurt and we appeal for a mandatory injunction on this serial before it’s broadcasted from 20th March 2017.
We make a humble request to stop broadcasting of this serial and help to keep social harmony as Sikhs do not follow such Hindu rituals of applying Tilak on their forehead but perform recitation of path of guru Granth sahib ji and do Ardas-the Sikh prayer.
A Sikh youth in his 17 years of age can be seen grown with his beard and moustaches. The elder prince of 10th master of Sikh religion Guru gobind Singh ji, Sahibjada Ajit Singh got martyred fighting mighty Mogul army at Chamkaur, his pictures available are the evidence as he was also of same age.
Kindly help to restore peace and harmony by giving a mandatory injunction on this serial else we shall be compelled to go to the court for the same.
