    Respected Sir,

    I want to share with you an important thing, which is very important to know how cheating is done by hospitals in the time of the Covid pandemic, I became a victim of hospital cheating and when the necessary thing came up I also resisted the hospitals and It was a success.

    I am a resident of Ahmedabad.
    My sister was admitted to Royal Gujarat General Hospital, Nana Chiloda, Ahmedabad on 19/04/2021 for the treatment of corona. She was discharged on 22/04/2021 and paid a deposit of Rs. 1 lakh at the time of admission.

    Yes, She only needed a bed for isolation, Ramdesivir, steroids were not used in his treatment, he did not have any critical problem, the two children were admitted at home so that they would not feel infected.

    For 3 days of treatment, the hospital deducted Rs. 72000 from the paid deposit and refunded the remaining amount.

    I was surprised to see such a big bill for 3 days of treatment, so I emailed the hospital and asked for a bifurcation on the bill and also asked what government guideline (AMC or AHNA) you have charged for this, reply after a reminder, I told him that he was charged as per the guideline of AHNA, to cross verify his answer I checked whether the hospital is registered in the website of AHNA, I was again surprised that the hospital which robbed the patient in the name of the guideline is AHNA, not only registered in.

    I immediately informed the hospital via email about the information, settlement of this matter and refund of the rupee and if not, I will file a case in the Consumer Court.

    Seeing the seriousness of the time, the hospital immediately accepted my statement and on Monday called for a face to face meeting on 05/07/2021 from 5 to 7 pm, the hospital offered me a settlement of Rs. 42000 refunded less rupee 30000 treatment cost.!

    I Accepted and received a refund in cash.

    In all of this we have to say that most of the customers sue the insurance company for deducting the claim from their insurance company, and their agent has to hear the truth, the cost to the customer of the hospital always seems to be right, those people no action is taken against the hospital, it is always necessary for the insurance company to be wrong, it needs to be understood.

    How many such hospitals will there be in Gujarat and Ahmedabad and how many patients like me will be given false bills every day?

    That is a question worth considering, The purpose behind telling you all this is to make people aware that hospitals are also cheating, so there is a dire need for awareness. If you publish all this, such hospitals will be afraid to do so a second time and the word will reach the ears of the government.
