Date of Birth , (07-01-1949), born in Mumbai, Dadar Hindu Colony.

Dr.Mahadevan Shankar Iyer has more than thirty five years of organizational experience in the field of Teaching, HRD and Corporate Training. Besides a passion for public service, Education, Theatre and Cultural activities are his magnificent obsessions. His varied experience includes teaching management subjects in leading Corporate Houses, management institutions, law colleges, Chamber of Commerce and public schools.

He is the Chairman cum Hon. Director of SHANKAR IYER INSITUTE OF LAW AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES (Regd.),and its Division, MIND MOULDERS(Corporate Trainers& Career Builders) , Sr.Vice President of ORIENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION FORUM and an advisor and regular visiting faculty for STERLING INSTITUTE OF CORPORATE CONFERENCES & EVENTS KERALA (Logon www.sterlingeventsindia.com).


He is also a freelance journalist and has contributed various articles on Law, HRD and Education in many leading publications of India and delivered talks for A.I.R Bombay for schools and management institutions and presented many papers in International Conferences. As a Psychotherapist, he was interviewed in WIN TV by Dr. Swaminathanthan for Higher Education programme for one hour where problems related to Stress and suicidal tendency were addressed and discussed at length. The programme received much appreciations and requests for repeat telecasts in Tamil Nadu. Dr.Mahadevan Shankar Iyer has been also actively associated with theatre as playwright, actor, director and producer right from his school days till
date .

Also as a Legal Consultant &Advocate having more than fifteen years of experience. Consumer Guidance Society of India, Bar Council of Dadar, and an active member in many professional bodies and a practicing advocate on the Original side Bombay High Court He is also a practicing advocate in the Bombay High Court, District Courts, Session Courts, Co-operative Courts and Consumer Courts. Also an Associate Advocate & Legal Consultant in NEW ERA JURIS(LLP).

Was Conferred in April 2014, Doctorate in Law by University of Mumbai for his thesis:
“ THE IMPACT OF GATT /WTO AGREEMENT ON SOCIO-PERSONNEL
ARENA WITH SPECIFIC REFERENCE TO LABOUR LAWS IN INDIA”,
