With due respect, we beg to state that our institute, Sambalpur University
Institute of Information Technology, one of the leading technical institute
in Odisha on the line of IIITs is going to organize a National-level Open
Innovation Hackathon under the proper guidance of HackerEarth in the month
of February,2020. By the means of which we will be providing a grand
innovative platform for both technical and non-technical fields of several
institutes. We are also targeting to solve the ongoing problem statements
of industries and IT sectors through our innovative ideas which are to be
pitched up by both technical and non-technical students on a national-level
platform to be provided by us. We are also proud to inform you that a team
of our institute named team NextGen won the national level first prize in
the theme of industry oriented problem, in the Make in Odisha conclave,
organized in November,2018 by the collaboration of BPUT and Smart Odisha
Hackathon at Bhubaneswar, Janata Maidan, and it’s venue was College of
Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar. Another milestone achieved by our
institute is, we have organized INNOVOVATE 3.0(an open innovation
challenge) with the collaboration of Startup Odisha by the virtue of which
we provided an opportunity and also a platform to all the technical
institutes in our Odisha, in this event we invited all the government,
private, NIT and IIT students for pitching up their innovative ideas. In
this innovation challenge, again team NextGen bagged the first prize and a
team from NITR achieved the runners-up position. Hence, after these
milestones and achievements we are looking forward to organize a
National-level Open Innovation Hackathon like the Smart Odisha Hackathon
for which we will be providing a grand platform. So, we want a handsome
amount of fund as sponsorship and your heartily co-operation to make this
event a grand success.
