I'm of the regular reader of Gujrati 'Divya Bhaskar' in Mumbai and also one of the die-hard fans of Mr Kanti Bhatt who recently left for heavenly abode.

With reference to the Gujrati Divya Bhaskar of Mumbai dated 4th September 2019, I'm very much pleased to find opinion poll in respect of timing for Navratri Festival be extended either upto 1:00 am or 2:00 am.

I gereby applaud your campaign i.e.'MAHA-ABHIYAAN' for such noble cause. I hereby also applaud your plantation drive that appears in Divya Bhaskar at regulary and appeal the masses to join the plantation drive.

I would be very delighted and grateful alongwith millions of other readers, if the same campaign - 'Myaabhiyaan' is conducted for Mumbai as well to get the time extended at lease upto 12:00 midnight for the Navratri Festival.

I have shared your complete text image on first page ti hundreds of my individual contacts and number of groups through WhatsApp and also shared through Facebook, with my text message that people in Mumbai return back at home by 9:00 pm, and by the time they reach Navratri Ground/ Pandal the celebration is over. Thus the people at large are deprived of our traditional celebration of Navratri Festival and we feel suffocated. The government and concerned authorities are requested to extend the time at least till 12:00 midnight.
During 1970s, 80s and 90s I remember we could play 'Dandiya- Raas' and 'Garba' till 2:00 am and as late as 4:00 am in Kandivali's Shakti Chowk, Majithia Nagar and so on.
On pretext of pseudo secularism why we are deprived to celebrate our cultural and traditional festival just for merely9 out of 365 days.
