I am from Kerala and a subscriber of Asianet Cable TV since 2000. Recently I selected Kerala Gold HD package for which I am paying an amount close to 500 per month. The reason for selecting such a package was just to watch two channels which are my favorites. That is the real business by the operators.
They are offering packages and so we all customers are forced to select so and so packages in which around 50% channels we never watch. What is the need for paying for those channels? TRAI should come up with regulations on such issues and let customers select individual channels and pay for that.
