    Respected Sir,
I Undersigned, a career counsellor, psychologist & an educationist, herewith wish to put some views regarding the admission procedure & eligibility criterion for technical courses.
    1) As DTE is conducting Second attempt of NATA on 7th JULY 2019 for architecture, the admission procedure would have been started after the declaration of the result of the same which would have been a sigh of relief to give enough time to health sciences & engineering admissions in the month of June.
    2) The SETU kendras are getting flooded wherein the staff allotted to give the services are not that much competent & young enough to handle the technicality of the process efficiently. It would have been always better to train them beforehand & give special allowances for their hard work & cooperation to the students & parents which releases the pressure of the procedure.
    3) The allotment of SETU kendras would have been done Area wise which would have helped to control the crowd & waiting period of students and parents. The setu kendras must provide seating arrangement for the parents and students.
    4) Most important point about the eligibility criterion of Architecture- When a student choose to go for Architecture, his skills of perception, design & drawings, understanding geometry & History of Architecture are the major domains which he endeavors in his preparations of NATA & JEE PAPER 2.
The student is an artist to present his ideas on paper & convert into structures, here the knowledge of XIIth standard Maths, physics & chemistry is of very less use & so in all entrance exams of architecture lesser marks are given to this subjects. Therefore the eligibility criterion of scoring 50% or 45% in PCM group is not much important as the aggregate 50% of HSC & MAths score of SSC exam is important.
please discuss these points with the experts of the Architecture/planning field and revise the eligibility criterion tom save the future of upcoming architects who have done well in all four entrances and passed HSC with or above 50% aggregate.
Being A Psychologist, a career counsellor and An educationist, I strongly recommend to take the best care of Youngsters psychology which is getting churned into Our So called Education system. We have to make changes in the system taking into consideration the psychology of parents & students too.
    5) Please STOP ARCHITECTURE ADMISSION Procedure till the result declaration of second attempt of NATA in July.
This Mail is written after discussing the authorities like Principals of Architecture college And admission cells of reknowned colleges.
I hope our democratic country & its system will surely consider my suggestions & change accordingly.
Thanks A Lot for reading it completely!
    Yours Faithfully
