Subject: Seek Help of Media to get justice in a murder case

Dear Sir
I am Sukhwinder Pal, living with my wife and children in Amritsar since 1989, Punjab. I want to inform you that my father, Mr. Satpal Rajput was murdered on 4th March 2019. He lived in House No. 641, Shant Nagar, Rayya (District Amritsar) with my only unmarried sister.
He was a very simple living and noble human being. He was around 72 years old. He earned his living through a small general store within house.
On 4th March 2019, my sister, Kanwalpreet Rajput had come to Amritsar to buy some items for shop. When my father was alone at home that day, someone came to kill him. The Killer entered through shop and dragged him to the interior of house through shop and murdered brutally with many knife stabs without any robbery. Nothing valuable was missing from house. If something little had gone, we don’t know about it.
The killers had come with only intent to murder him. We reported to Rayya Police, filed FIR No. 60 in Beas police station. No one has been arrested yet. Killers are roaming free.
My father had complained about some people living around who disturbed and fought with him regularly because he was alone there. Some of them were druggists and drug business was done in that lane. My father had complained about them to many government authorities but he was not heard because of political pressure dumping those complaints. No investigation was done on any of the complaints he made. I found copies of the complaints in my father’s handwriting, which I handed over to the police. But still the police have done nothing about the complaints.
In the end, an honest man was murdered mercilessly. Police said they got no evidence so they cannot do anything about it. Also, the neighborhood knows about the happening but is not revealing anything about it. It’s possible that the killer is from surroundings only and people are afraid of him.
Now my sister lives alone in that house. As he was killed, someone can harm her too and since I am following up this case, the killer may kill me or my family. Our lives are not secured. So we want some strict action to be taken by government. We want justice.
If the local police are not able to do anything of it, then case must be forwarded to CBI. We are not very wealthy people, and cannot spend money on this case but we want self protection and justice in any case.
We seek help from media to broadcast this case so that Government of India has to take action about it.
