Complaint TOO BAD SERVICE From OLA

    On 28th June, I wrote below to OLA Support:
    OLA Team,

    Would like to share today's BAD experience about your service!

    Today evening, I booked a share cab OSN1048685221 which would cost me Rs.89 for my ride. This driver Prasad Pawar, very much came near my location in Magarpatta city itself for dropping previous ride person. He was shown about 5 minutes distance from my location, when suddenly, the distance raised to 30 minutes. When I tracked him, i could see him going out of Magarpatta city towards Wagholi. I called him multiple times, but all the time, he cut my calls. It looks that, he did not want to take my ride and instead wanted to go somewhere else. Then after a long long wait, I had no option left but to cancel this ride.

    The next ride I booked was OSN1048711443, driver Abhishek. However, don't know what this driver did mess up with the system. He waited at distant location and started my ride. When I could not see him around and when tracked, I could see him farther away. Then I called him and explained about my location. He did come to my location, but when he tried entering OTP I received for his ride, it could not go through and was giving him error all the time. Not sure if he had messed up with sequence of pick up or how. Then again, I had to cancel this ride.

    Then finally, I could book a ride OSN1048743379, which costed me Rs.138, which was Rs. 49 EXTRA than the 1st ride I got (Rs.138-89=Rs.49).

    Because of your BAD Services, may be due to your driver or due to non functioning of your system properly, I ended up paying EXTRA Rs.49.

    Plz credit this amount back to my account, which I was penalized TOTALLY DUE TO FAULT FROM OLA SIDE!

    Attached plz find screenshot of my first booked ride for Rs.89, wherein you willbe able to see, how driver was going away from Magarpatta city towards Wagholi side.

    However, I received very discouraging reply from OLA, which is NOT ACCEPTABLE:

    We are sorry to know that driver partner denied the duty for the booking OSN 1048711443 and for the OSN 1048685221.

    We are initiating a follow up with the partner involved. We have taken this up with the partner operations team, who will address this and necessary action will be taken against the partner as per Ola policy and procedure.

    We would like to inform you that in Ola share bookings the discount percentage will vary depending on the time of the day and may go up to 50 percent. Hence, you have been charged Rs. 138/- for the booking OSN 1048743379. We regret to inform you that we are unable to process the refund. However, we have taken your feedback and forwarded to the relevant team to minimize this issue in future.
