This is with regard to a very recent experience that I had while registering for a complaint with the customer care representative for the defective product that was delivered to me.

A complaint call was made to phone no. 8942060522 to one of your customer care executives to discuss the issue regarding defective product delivered to me . It was decided that your company shall arrange for a return of the product followed by refund of the amount paid.

However, much to my surprise the executive demanded for the details of my debit card including the much protected 'CVV' no. which as per the guidelines of the Govt. of India and the RBI is a classified information.

On being objected to by my wife, the executive snapped at her and asked for the total amount lying with the bank that has created a panic for us "itna kitna amount hai bank jo darr lag raha hai". He blatantly refused to transfer the call to the floor manager or any one in authority and kept on ridiculously teasing my wife.

This is a misadventure and I am not likely to take it lightly. The govt. of India has time and again through various modes of communications such as radio, social media, television put a rider on not sharing the 'CVV' no. with any one and especially over the phone and it does not matter if it is a company or an individual the risk remains the same.

If your company facilitates customer care and recordings of telephonic conversations is done to ensure quality check kindly investigate the matter and take proper action against the executive handing the customer issues. The phone no. is no longer receiving our calls neither any customer complaint reference no. was provided to us for our records.

I request you to immediately arrange for a return of defective products delivered to me and a refund of the amount paid be done through valid and legally conducive means as early as possible. If no appropriate action whatsoever is taken from your side I shall not shy away from filing a consumer complaint before the appropriate authority, the cost of which you shall solely be responsible to bear.
