    I had purchased HTC 828 dual sim mobile(IMEI NO: 352532079448417) on 29TH may 2017. But recently my mobile phone stopped working and when i reached the service centre (Bhopal) for help i was informed that the motherboard of the device had stopped working due to exposure to moisture which may have occurred due to exposure in occasional seasonal rainfall.
    The authorised service station of HTC at Raisen Road, Bhopal refused to replace the faulty motherboard inspite of the device being under one year warranty period and told me to pay Rs. 12500.
    Being a regular user of HTC I always had a trust on the brand but i think it is the fault of the device that it got corrupted due to moisture and it should be covered in the warranty, as it was not my fault.
    Also there are companies like LAVA etc which offer warranty against exposure to moisture and water. A brand like HTC must offer such facilities to it’s customers otherwise the customers will be forced to choose any other brand in the market from next time onwards.
    Also such things effect the companies reputation and credibility.
    If the mobile is not repaired under the applicable warranty i will be forced to report the matter to consumer forum and media / News papers, in the interest of the masses.
    I request that my mobile should be repaired free of cost under the warranty and necessary direction under intimation to me may pl. be issued to the HTC authorised service centre at Rama Arcade Raisen Road Bhopal
