    I decided to buy hero maestro after reading about warranty for a long period and good quality, service, etc. but I am very disappointed to inform that it has just been a year and the starter motor of my vehicle is not working. I have always serviced the vehicle on time and there hasn't been any kind of mishandling as can be seen from the condition of my vehicle but the servicing manager told me that starter motor is damaged and you will have to replace it. Is this quality expected from hero? And why isn't it covered in warranty? Do I have to replace it like this every year? I never thought I would be getting this kind of experience from hero. I have activa at my native place and it's starter motor hasn't damaged ever since it was purchased, which was 10 years ago! To whom this should be reported? Is there any responsible authority who will address this concern? I seriously doubt that I received a damaged piece from hero. If this be true, I'll have to take this matter to the consumer court.
