Republic TV is an Indian English language news channel owned by ARG Outlier Media and Asianet News. This news channel has its studios in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The news channel was launched on 6 May 2017 and created by Arnab Goswami. Mr.Rajeev Chandrasekhar, an entrepreneur and the Vice-Chairman of the Bharatiya Janta Party in its Kerala wing invested in ARG outlier Media Private Limited were reported to be a part of it. They invested Rs.30 Crore in it. Mr. Arnab Goswami along with his wife Samyabrata Ray also invested in Republic TV. The slogan of the Channel is “You are republic, we are your voice”. S.Sundaram, who had served as the CFO for Times Now till 2012, was named as the Group CFO for Republic TV.

Greetings of the day...
First of all Jai Hind, being a responsible citizen of India and a Health Care Professional, i echoed my voice with the Honorable PM of India that we are going through a state of crisis because of the COVID-19 Pandemic Worldwide. While considering we are still in Phase 2 of the pandemic, it's high time we should practice the basics of social distancing and which many of the Companies are rightly doing by giving their employees Work From Home or working with least employees to avoid crowding at their workplaces and hence breaking the chain of virus transmission. Of late that has recently came to my notice while conversing with my fellow colleagues in other companies in Hinjewadi, Pune that they are still working from offices and even after requesting the management they denied saying "let the cases rise and we will see to it". I must say this is the highest form of insane and irresponsible behaviour from some big enterprises and their management. Even after the CM and Health Minister of the State asked for a complete lockdown and allowing companies to permit work from home, they are still having open offices even today. Such uninformed and ignorant behaviour of these Pvt Companies are against Public Safety and against the Greater interest of the Country. While health care professionals and others are prepared and risking their lives for these times, the rather irresponsible Companies are minting their own money by working full strength. They must understand the crisis and larger interest of this country otherwise why would the Prime Minister appeal for Public Safety.
As a responsible citizen of the country, I urge you to cover this story and show it to the people and take accurate steps through proper channel how these firms are denying the state orders and goin on with their own risking Public Lives.
