    I send this on 24th July - still no reply:-

    Good morning

    My husband and I have recently returned from our cruise on Celebrity Edge (9 - 16 July) from Barcelona to Rome.

    We have cruised with celebrity several times and here are our Captain's Club details:-
    Margaret Janice Ramsay - 725050010
    Iain Laird Ramsay - 725050052

    The cruise was fabulous but there are a few issues we want to draw to your attention.

    We could not download luggage tags until 2 days before the cruise. We usually have these a couple of weeks in advance.

    More importantly are our concerns re our flights home. We received 7 emails between 19th May and 16th July stating that there were changes to our flights home and Celebrity staff would get in touch - they never did!

    Our original flights home were via Amsterdam with KLM. However I received an email on 6th July from KLM to tell me that these flights had been cancelled. I then telephoned Celebrity who said the flights were not cancelled! After I sent proof that the flights had been cancelled, Celebrity said they would sort this for me.

    In the mean time, KLM got in touch to say that they had rearranged our filghts with Air France, Business class flying back via Paris.

    One of your team, Bei Rodriguez, emailed me on 7th July asking if these Air France flights were suitable and I agreed.

    Meanwhile, when I logged into your website, the original CANCELLED fights with KLM were still being displayed!

    On 8th July at 17.26, one of your team, Cy Regal , emailed me to ask if the Air France flights were acceptable and I said yes. However, website still had original flights. This was a few hours before we were leaving for our cruise.

    The last day of our cruise, we were unable to access our boarding passes. We also asked the Captain's Club person to try for us and she could not access them either.

    We arrived at the airport on 16th to discover that our booking had not gone through! No idea why!

    Air France sorted this for us - coming home Economy class via Amsterdam using Al Italia and KLM.

    After we had checked in, we received another two emails from flights by Celebrity to state that there were problems with our flights and they would get in touch. Again, they never did!

    Fortunately, thanks to Air France's help desk, we got home.

    However I am extremely disappointed by Celebrity staff who did not resolve our issues and caused a great deal of stress and anxiety to us immediately before our holiday, the last day of our holiday and for the journey home. We expect better of Celebrity and feel that the lack of communication was unacceptable.
