The Arundhati Suvarna Yojana was announced by the concerned authorities of Assam government. The main motive through the implementation of this scheme was to make the percentage of registered marriage higher. We all know that most of the marriages in our states are not registered officially because of any of the personal reasons. Thus, the Assam government will be giving incentives for all the newly married bride who have registered their marriage in the upcoming year of 2020.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Arundhati Swarna Yojana, you must follow the simple eligibility criteria given here:-
An applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of Assam state.
The applicant must be a newlywed.
The funds will be transferred to the bride’s
bank account.
A Girl must be at least 18 years old and boy must be at least 21 years old.
The girl must have studied till at least 10th standard.
The marriage must be registered under the Special Marriage Act 1954
An annual income of the bride’s family must be less than Rs 5 lakh.
The scheme is only applicable to the first marriage of the girl.
Documents Required:
Documents of Girls which is necessary to seek application for this scheme:
Age proof
Certificate of Marriage
Income certificate of parents issued by the Circle Officer of the area
Bank Account details
Certificate issued by the Gaonburah/ Mouzadar of the village
Now language option will appear on the screen, choose your language in which you would like to fill the form
The form will appear on the screen enter the details such as the annual income of the family, applicants name, groom name, father name, Aadhar card no, marriage registration at and other information as asked
Enter the captcha code appears on the screen and take a print out of the filled application form
Click the “submit” option to take a print out of it.
Procedure To Track Status Of Application
To track status you have to browse the official website of Revenue and Disaster Management Department
From the home page of the website you will find the “citizen” option in the menu bar
Click on it and a drop-down list will appear from where you have to select “track status” option
