I have HP gas connection in navi mumbai in my name and my father have HP gas connection in his name in our native place at Sangli(MAHARASHTRA).My father expired 3 months ago.He was alone in native as my mother expired 10 years ago. My two sisters are married and living with husband.Every year we go to our native in summer vacation and diwali vacation. After my fathers death is it compulsory to surrender gas connection ? Or can i transfer my fathers gas connection in my name as we need it when we go native in vacation. I am ready to surrender subsidy of native gas connection. Kindly guide me.
