Introduction
Passport Office, Hyderabad was opened in the year 1976 after bifurcating from Passport Office, Madras to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh. The Passport Office was started as a small organization and after 23 years of public service the workload has increased more than 10 fold with corresponding increase in staff strength. Today, it has grown into the second biggest office next to Mumbai office. In Secunderabad, which is very close to the railway station, bus stop and airport. As the input is increasing considerably and also there was a great pressure from the people of coastal region, Ministry of External Affairs had felt a need to have one more office in Andhra Pradesh. Passport Office, Vishakhapatnam was opened on 17 January 1997 covering 5 coastal districts i.e. Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Vishakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts.
Office Space: We have shifted to our own premises in Secunderabad, which has three floors consisting of 60,432 sq. ft. There is a proposal to construct residential complex within the premises of the new office.

My file no. is HD3078268224515. I visited Passport Regional Office, Secunderabad on 8th Jul-15 to initiate the process and conclusion was that releasing SHOW CAUSE NOTICE to my address. But still I have not received. Please arrange to send otherwise I have to spend full one day to post the same.

I am shaik baber ali, I have already passport no is F9923616 but ecr stamped on my passport the validity of my passport is 20/09/2006 to 19/09/2016. So I renewed my passport for the purpose ECNR. Reissue the passport I applied 05/11/2015 I attached the identity prove are addhar card,voter card.SSC certificate and old passport copy and the passport issued to me the date of 09/11/2015 but my passport now ECR and reissue file number is HY3078927757915.
