In 1971, the company moved towards a public limited company and expanded its business by establishing a soft drink bottling plant in Bihar and thus, changed its name to Orient Beverages Ltd. The company was in the businesses of real estate, share trading and packaged drinking water. It offers natural or artificial mineral; water. in 2005, it started working as a franchisee of Bisleri International.
