WHO IS LEPRA INDIA?
An arm of the LEPRA society of UK, LEPRA India was established in 1988 in Hyderabad India. The NGO, now in its 25th Year, has been working in India across Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar, and Jharkhand besides Andhra Pradesh primarily in the field of public health and disease control. They are also the implementation agencies of many disease prevention and control programs of the Central government of India like malaria and HIV/AIDS. They work for those affected with such diseases and reach out to the poor in remote areas, distressed women, slum dwellers and those who cannot afford costly treatments.
