Andhra Pradesh University is also known as Andhra Vishwa Kala Parishad and is situated in Visakhapatnam. It is one of the oldest and premier universities of the north east coastal and broadly focuses on educating the student masses. The university saw its inception in the year 1926 and initially shared its affiliation responsibilities with the Madras University.
