Postal Life Insurance Scheme offers Life Insurance cover with high returns on premium. The maximum sum assured offered under this scheme is Rs. 50 Lakhs. This policy is offered by the Government of India to employees of Central and State Public Sector Enterprises Central and State Governments Government Aided Educational Institutions Universities Government aided Educational Institutions Autonomous Bodies Local Bodies Cooperative Societies Joint Ventures having a minimum of 10% Government PSU stake etc. A group insurance scheme is also managed by Postal Life Insurance which is for “Gramin Dak Sevaks” i.e. Extra Departmental Employees of the Department of Posts.

Sir, I No. 380484 Hav/Elect Dileep Kumar of 20 AR presently on deputation with 26 Special Composite Group, National Security Guard, Mumbai. I have a PLI Policy bearing No. APS-508725-C since 12 Nov 2002 having sum assured 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) with date of maturity Nov 2019 and its monthly subscription Rs. 475/- (Rupees Four Hundred Seventy Five only).
Since I am presently on deputation and serving at Mumbai since July 2017 so my monthly subscription is not deducted from my pay & account by my parent organization hence I approached APS Colaba and remit my five months PLI subscription i.e wef July 2017 to Nov 2017.
I view of the above, it is requested to kindly confirm that above mentioned monthly subscription (July 2017 to Nov 2017) credited into my PLI account or otherwise so that I can further deposit the same at APS/ Civil Post Office in future also for continuous of my PLI Policy.
