Government of India, has taken an initiative to save the consumer’s from the various kinds of Exploitation. National Consumer is a organisation has been setup by the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs to look after the concerns of customer’s which arises in day to day dealing’s with Business and Service provider’s.

Under the Consumer ACT 1986 there are several right’s which all consumer’s should know and they have a freedom to exercise them anywhere in India. If any Business or Service provider’s don’t cooperate with consumer’s or customer’s than they have a liberty to make complaint against them in the National Consumer Court.

Government has also started a program called “Jago Grahak Jago”. Main objective of this program is to make all consumer’s aware about there Right’s and Duties. Many advertisement channel’s are used to spread it across all over India.
