In June 2015, the company or Jio entered into an agreement with the handset maker Intex to supply 4G handsets all across the country. But in October 2015, the company launched its own mobile handset named LYF.

I have purchased Jio SIM bearing No. 6305972905 by paying Rs.498/- FOR UNLIMITED Calls/SMS for 90 days from Jio Officials(bearing Cell No. 7013649660 on 16-04-2019 in the High Court premises, at Hyderabad, Telangana. It was activated immediately and was working till 20-04-2019. Suddenly, it was stopped to work,on 21-04-2019 as I was not able to call to any body, by getting a message that not registered to Net work nor I was getting any calls to my Jio cell. When I contacted in our High Court Advocates' Association Office, they called Jio Officials, who promised that they would come and see the defect. But no body turned up. On the other hand, Jio Official told me to contact Cell 9949033331, instead of asking them to contact my cell,a s my BSNL cell No. 9490933905 is working as SIM 2 in my same handset. i asked him to rectify the defect as I Have purchased in the High Court premises. more over I don't know any Customer center in Hyderabad, except recharge centers. But there was no proper response from Jio O0fficials. I told them that I approach to Consumer Forum for appropriate relief and also to file criminal complaint against all the concerned, for which, he replied to do whatever I like. Therefore, as a last resort, I am giving this complaint reserving my right to take appropriate legal steps against Jio.
