The college was set up in 1961. It offers the courses of graduate and post graduate level. The College Hostel, located within the college campus, consists of two blocks, one each for boys and girls. The college library is functioning with the objective of providing services to its members in order to promote educational excellence in Sri Venkateswara College. Students are provided the facility of computers with high speed internet connectivity and access to e-journals.The foundation stone for the construction of a fully fledged college building in the spacious site of nearly 15 acres provided at DhaulaKuan, New Delhi, was laid on 20th August’1961 appropriately and auspiciously by Dr. SarvepalliRadhakrishnan, India’s outstanding teacher, scholar and statesman.
