Dear Sir,
We the parents of first year MBBS students do hereby request you to get our
below mentioned Complaints solved within a week . We were shown a rosy picture
of the Medical College on your website before taking admission through MCC
counselling.
1. The toilets in the medical college building & Dhiraj Hospital are very dirty
,without water & unhygienic .The same is the problem with hostel Rooms ,lobby
,stairs & toilets of hostels & mess.It must be remembered that WHO & MCI
lays immense stress on proper handwash.
2. Regular water supply of water should be ensured .The facility of
flushing/Cisterns is non functional & so must be set right.
3. Room cleaning should be done during students off time i.e. before 09:00 AM or
after 04:00 PM & ample of staff should be deployed for this work.
4. As most of the students of management quota are north Indians the mess menu
should be designed taking their choice of food in mind .The tea made should be
less sweet.
5. Their is no arrangement of drinking water in many girls Hostels. Provision of
drinking water with RO/Filter & water cooler must be made on every floor of all
hostels.
6. The university is very far from the city of Vadodara & so it becomes the duty of
the university management to ensure that there must be some good provision
stores & fruits shops so that students can get some food with good nutritive
value from there.
7. The library has only older editions .As per directives of MCI a medical college
library must have all books & students can avail facility of reading/lending
books.
8. The gymnesium in dhanwantari hostel is having either old/non working
equipments & no cleaning of gym is being done .Please ensure that it remains
clean with all the equipments in proper working condition.
9. In case of electricity failure there is must be some generator backup.
10. In case of Online payments may be for hostel /mess etc a student is asked to get
confirmation done from bank.In the days of netbanking your clerical staff can
verify the transfer in their office itself.
Dear sir we the parents feel that we have commited a grave mistake by
choosing your medical college & so want to ensure that nobody else fells in your
trap from year 2020 onwards. Dear Sir in case of no concrete corrective action
are taken by you we will be forced to take up our complaints at higher level
including MCI ,DGHS ,Gujarat Health Minister , DGME & all social platforms like
quora,face book etc. so that no students are befooled in mop up rounds /Next
year MCC counselling.
