Abu Dabhi Commercial Bank India started operating nearly 32 years ago. It was established in the year 1980 with the basic objective of expanding and fostering Indo-UAE trade relations. One of the other purposes this bank has is serving right to the requirements of non-resident Indians working in the UAE and other countries in the GCC region. This bank has done excellent in this sphere. In last 30 years, Abu Dabhi Commercial Bank is plateful in India. It has two branches, one in Mumbai and one in Bengaluru. The India operations of Abu Dabhi Commercial Bank are organized into three business segments are liabilities, Corporate Banking and Trade Finance (CTF), and Treasury. The Indian operations of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank commenced in 1980. It was known as the former “Emirates Commercial Bank”. It was set up on December 9, 1980. The very first Bank started working at premises in 75, Rehmat Manzil, Veer Nariman Road, Mumbai, 400020. There were several other operations that took place in following years. A big merger came in the year 1985. Three commercial banks merged were namely, the Federal Commercial Bank, the Khaleej Commercial Bank and the Emirates Commercial Bank. As the consequence of this amalgamation, the Indian processes started implementing with the specific name of “Abu Dabhi Commercial Bank”. Further development took place in the year 1996 when a branch in Bengaluru was opened. It was done in order to expand the empire of Abu Dhabi.
