Delhi Nursery Admission is an initiative taken by the Directorate of education, Delhi for the child of economically weaker sections and the disadvantaged category. Under this program, the Delhi State Government will finance the pre-school studies of the beneficiaries. The applicant who meets the eligibility criteria can apply for the admission under this program. Apart from general category admission, as per the Right to Education Act 2009, there are 25% reserved seats for the students who need not pay a fee. In Delhi, 1700 private schools are there that have approximately 1.25 lakh seats for Nursery admission.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who meet the following eligibility criteria may apply for the admission under this initiative of the Doctorate of Education, Government of Delhi:
Age of the applicant for Nursery or Pre-School is 3 to 5 years, KG or Pre-Primary is 4 to 6 years and Class I is 5 to 7 years as on March 31, 2020
Family income should not more than 1 Lakh rupees per year
Applicants must belong to the family of economically weaker sections and the disadvantaged category.
Applicant must be the permanent resident of Delhi.

Following are the documents required for admission:
Resident proof
Income proof
Cast certificate
Date of birth certificate
Aadhar card
Procedure To Apply For Delhi Nursery Admission 2020-21
Applicants need to follow the further stated steps to apply for the admission under this program:
To apply for the Nursery Admission Program applicants need to visit the official website of the Directorate of education, Delhi
From the home page of the website you need to read the instructions or read this article carefully
Now you need to search “Registration for New User” option given in the left-hand side of the page.

Click on it and a new page will open on the screen, fill the registration form enter all the asked information carefully
Create registration ID and remember your ID & password
Now login and fill the rest application form as asked in it
Upload the necessary documents in the JPG format/ PDF form as prescribed
Preview the application form carefully and then click submit option to submit the form
Take a print out of the application form for further use.
Attach the necessary document with the form and submit a copy to the school premises. Documents required to submit is mentioned above but some additional documents may require as per the protocol of the school. Parents can grab the documents to be submitting related information from the school.
