Vatsa Corporation (VCL) was established in February 1987 as Vatsa Finance. It was renamed as Vatsa Industries in 1994-95. The company was promoted by Ganapati Exports, Rolex Holding, B V Bhatt and his associates.The company was basically involved in leasing, hire purchase, OTC operations, safe deposit lockers and corporate financing. The company made a Rs 4.5-crore public issue in June 1993 to meet it`s growing long-term working capital requirements and meet part of the capital expenditure for safe-deposit vaults. The company got divided into industries like aluminium, food products, pharmaceuticals and bulk drugs, cosmetics and agro exports, electronics, entertainment and multimedia.
