Subject :- Complaint from Noida Metro Rail Passenger
Dear Sir.
As per declarations in news papers at the start of Aqua Metro it was told the Metro 51 will connect Delhi metro 52. There may be some problems in connecting both metro’s but the ground travel can be made easy by connecting directly through an unrestricted path where no one should enter other than metro passengers
Myself is a daily passenger of Aqua Metro rail Noida UP. During my daily travel I have observed so many problems which can be solved by your NMRC management. Suggestions and some remedies are given. I will request NMRC to consider the same.
That as soon as a passenger ( Like me) leaves the metro building Station 51 towards Delhi Metro 52, I observe the following.
Outside near opposite Hira sweets gate there is always a less space left for pedestrians due to around Thela Khamocha.
There are no barricades around both sides of particular foot path which has been made for pedestrians ie metro passengers to catch the free E- rikshaw for Metro 52. The path is covered by people around Thela ,Khamocha and salesaman for mobile cover etc.
Whereas there is a space available to enter directly to the specific place where Erikshaw is available at the start. The path can be made better but it seems it has been sold or rented or due to no caring for metro passengers.
No passenger with his luggage can enter to Erickshaw place or footpath under shed for travelling without lifting his luggage so many times. At the time of heavy rush it becomes miserable particularly for ladies/families with small children, senior citizens also and for general public also.
It is surprised why a large space has been provided for ‘one more Gate’ for opposite Plot Holder under metro pillars. It seems already plot holder has been allotted a big entrance point at other place, then why passenger traveling area is blocked and allowed rough a narrow space. The wide space can be used by metro travelers for easy journey from 51 to E rickshaw place where travel starts, but it is now narrow due to overtaking area by side plot holder for gate. Metro management if interested can allot the suitable space area for Khamocha Thela holders under pillars for the time being. This will avoid the difficulties faced by passengers. The space from E rickshaw Stop to corner of the 51metro building can be levelled.
I have no objection for allotting any space as per rules of Metro, but metro passengers must get proper, wide space for daily to & fro travel. So many passengers are having luggage with them or so many passengers are aged also but they are bound to lift their luggage.
It was possible for NMRC to provide direct a footpath upto the escalators and passenger Lift of 51 metro, but that space has been blocked adjacent to HIRA Sweets. Why it is unknown.
Entrance to sweet shop has been made easy by providing two way entrance to sweet shop, but entrance for metro passengers up to escalators & Lift is curved, narrow with stairs and not a plane travel area with up and down footpath both side of road.
Further when we travel by parallel E Rickshaw upto last point of shed, there is always a problem of public rush due to Private Auto Rikshaws which are over taking the space of travelling of metro Delhi passengers. Thanks to authorities, however since some days Thela Khamocha holders have been removed. But this area is still not barricaded for passengers.
Road to 51 metro is rough. It should be plane, leveled, and maintained. No one is caring this area. Some times UP Police is there and at that time overtaking by private auto rickshawas is avoided that time.
In between 51 and 52 there is water clogging area near end of the 51 Shed for footpath. A small rain fall always creates problem for passengers to cross the same. It is a hazard for passengers but NMRC has no care for it. When it is raining it becomes more problem for many days. It becomes a small lake. If you want to take a side for crossing there is always private auto rickshaw as a restriction standing in between. For luggage holder passengers, ladies particularly with children it is miserable.
There are ways, water clogging can be removed, it doesn’t require any huge structure or any big amount of money to get the water drained.
Thanks NMRC has provided free Solar E Rickshaw for passengers travel. In the starting passengers were less so it was easy to maintain it. But now passenger number has increased, E Rickshaws are not sufficient to shift such increased No’s. Footpath is good. Extend it to ( Including Shed) 52 Delhi Metro escalator and upto lift. Level the water clogging area as per requirement up to halfway ,also provide it with barricades.
At last I have to say Connect fully the the ground level route of NMRC 51 to 52 Delhi Blue line metro for passengers only.
