  • Poisonous food at Holiday inn Panchkula

    We almost 200 people attended a wedding ceremony at Holiday Inn Panchkula on 17th June 2022. Lunch and snacks were part of the package. Almost all of us got food poisoning after consuming the meals there. Many of us are yet hospitalized. We never ever have faced such a massacre drive by such a reputed hotel. Definitely we need a reply from you, why it happened. Let's all get well, will ask even to the home ministry and PMO about it.

    HOLIDAY INN KOLKATA AIRPORT. INDIA

    CHECK IN 14TH AUG AND CHECK OUT 15TH AUG

    The storey started with prearranged pick up at international terminal for1 am, where the driver, supposed to be with my play card , was missing. Any way after phone call and a wait, he appeared , and explained being first day of the job , he is not familiar with the area and insisted to come up to car park, we (my self and my wife) being very tired requested him to bring the car to the waiting area. The wait started again. After a while , contacting on the phone, he informed that battery of the car needs to be fixed hence will take time. I contacted the duty manager of the hotel , who replied back after sometime that driver is not able to fix the problem , better i should take the taxi. By the time i was already 2.20 am. Can you imagine taking a taxi, coming back from foreign country , along with wife, in a city you are not familiar with.
    Any way , reached hotel, checked in, lodged my protest, to the manger, who was apologetic. i asked since i m here for few hours only and next day morning , at 11.30 i have to take flight to my home town , hence ,he should arrange complimentary drop, he did not promise but replied he will talk to the senior manager in the morning.
    Got in the room, we found few hairs on the pillow and noticed perhaps the room was being used as day use, perhaps our arrival was announced during mid night hence we complained and insisted to change room. The room given was, marked as junior suit , but found no change , except little bigger and an extra sofa.
    next day at 9.15 am , i went to the reception to find out for the drop off, and was informed that its arranged, no worries . i insisted that I have to leave just after the breakfast at 10 am, hence please arrange everything so that there is no panic.
    At 9.55 am there was nothing , no baggage from the room, and no clearance of the bills, only be seated please. i saw the same driver ( of last night pick up ) was taking some one in a car.
    At 10.10 i was bit panic and ask for get the drop. i will arrange Ola, then i notice a person with 200 rupees note going outside . he came back and informed that car has come . it was Uber, I asked the driver, who confirmed.
    ONE VERY STRANGE THING: there was a lady standing behind the counter , practically doing nothing. Whenever there is someone checks out, she comes out of the counter and ask for writing the reviews. Since moist of the people not aware she ask for their cell phone and fills the reviews by herself. She came to me too, to help , but i refused to oblige.
    what a clever way of marketing or rather cheating.
    Certainly this hotel does not deserve the Holiday inn logo.

    आज होटल में मुझे पूल में जाने से मना किया गया
    मुझे कहा गया कि पूल कॉस्ट्यूम नहीं है
    सर मैंने मेक माई ट्रीप से बुक किया मेक माई ट्रीप पे ऐसा कोई आपके दुबारा रूल नहीं दिया गया की कॉस्ट्यूम के साथ पूल में प्रवेस होगा
    जबकि मैंने शोर्ट पहन रखा था

  • Connectiing doors between rooms

    Who on earth designed your hotel in Gurugram with ajoining doors between the rooms? There is no soundproofing in the doors, our first night here I had to ask the people next door to turn their 'bollywood' music down at 11.30pm, last night they talked/argued until I asked them to be quiet a 3 am this morning, what were you thinking off when you designed this hotel?? Where is the soundproofing for peace and quiet between rooms???

    I have been here for 5 days, |I have not slept on any night, the walls and the adjoining doors are not sound proof, we can hear every conversation and television programme from next door, night before last the guest next door tried to get through the adjoining door. The design of your hotel is flawed, the reason you book a hotel is to sleep, this is impossible at this hotel. What were you thinking when it came to soundproofing!!

    I travel to amritsar atleast 4 times a year
    Always staying at holiday inn.....
    This time its just got hopeless
    Acs are not working
    Upon continued request to check there's no proper answer
    Finally i requested for table fan since there's no ventilation in the room
    But no response for that also
    Room no. 517 and 519 ( holiday inn amritsar ). Check in date 25/12/23 to 27/12/23
    Plus no connection on intercom after multiple requests
    Hopeless...is the word for such a big brand
