When inserting strip device shows E 1.what is the reason

System not working after battery replacement..

Met a problem after purchasing a pack of test strips recently.

The instruction that came with it mentions there is no need of replacing the black activation chip, if I had one. But I do not have any black chip. Earlier I used to get a green activation chip with the pack of strips.

Please help.

We had purchased an Accu-Chek Active machine from Delhi Pharmacy, 69- Abhay Khand-1, HIG, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad-201014, the machine box was opened,
and there was no testing strip in it, when we asked for the strip he had given us 10 strips. the shopkeeper checked my blood sugar and it shows 410, he advised us to go to the doctor, we rush to the doctor after an hour, he checked and my blood sugar and it was 146, a big difference between 410 & 146. Sir, for this shocking reason
the patient can die
or can be, any mishappening because of your machine. We went to the Pharmacy and we asked to change the machine but simply she said you can call the customer care no of Accu-Chek. finally, the machine is not replaced and who is responsible for all this, Accu-Chek Company or seller, they are selling your used and open machine to the customer. Should we go to court for legal action? or where we can compliant?
Delhi Pharmacy had not given the bill. The Machine no. is GB1816970 & Batch no. 91001557. Waiting for your quick reply

Accu chek meter is not working. It shows E1. I tried three to four times again it shown the same.

Not working machine not on the machine

My Accu-Chek Active Sr.No. GU04396270 is showing E-1 error while the strip is being inserted after blood drop is put on it. New battery has also been replaced. Kindly help.

Meter is not working even after replacing new battery

My Accu-Chek Active UDI 04015630071104 expiry date is 2024-01-13 showing E-1 error while the strip is being inserted after blood drop is put on it. New battery has also been replaced. I had been to to medical shop where the same strip is giving E-1 error on another glucometer. I was told that strip is not working it is expired before expiry date.kindly help me . I am still having 37 active strip with me
