    Over the past two days, I got two nasty surprises from Uber in Kolkata. Both the times, I booked cabs under their Uber Pass offer and both the times the fare shown was Rs 99. But after I got off, once the amount deducted was Rs 273.84 (on 20.6.17 for a journey from Garia to Jimmy's Kitchen) and the second time it was Rs 308.78 (on 22.6.17 for a journey from my Brahmapur home to One Auto at Kalikapur, a distance of 7.9 km). What disgusting service!

    Fedup of #uber_India service and Customer care people. It has been 1 week, its app is not working properly. I am unable to book cabs, but nobody is listening and no proper response form them. dont know, what to do.

  • A REPEATED CASE OF UNFAIR FARE CHARGED

    Being an avid user of the Uber cabs , the ongoing issue that I am facing has led me to lose my hopes in the company's services. So , like every time when Uber charges the rider for cancellation, the procedure to get the refund is simple, although this time I don't know what technical glitch happened with my Uber account that instead of deducting those Uber credits from my Uber wallet , I have been repeatedly charged ₹63 extra for every trip that I undertook post the getting the Uber credits, which has left me bewildered and full of bitterness due to lack of support from the company in regard to resolution of my issue. I use Uber under the my name , I.e., Vrinda Jhajharia and my registered email id is rockingvrinda0914@gmail.com.
    This is my last effort towards approaching Uber in this regard and shall only be proceeding towards to the consumer forum having borne a completely hopeless response from the Company's end.
    I hope I shall hear from you in this regards with a prompt resolution of my issue.

    i booked a cab from newtown to howrah railway station,kolkata on 24/06/2017. the price shown at the time of booking was Rs 170.30 but after the ride i was charged Rs 596.11. Rs 350 was deducted from my PayeTim wallet. i have all the screenshots of my booking and the bill. i made a complaint for the same but there is no response from them. it's totally a bad experience and now feeling as cheated by such company.

    One of my worst experiences of travelling in an Uber cab. Today morning I get an estimation of Rs. 500 to 600 from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. At the end of the ride we're being informed that the fare is coming up to Rs. 1947 without prior intimation that the fare is going to be 4 times higher , after having a lot of dispute with the driver we close the matter by paying Rs. 1000 to the buyer, which is still higher than the estimation. I struggled a lot to contact Uber via customer care number or email id to lodge a complaint against the driver but I couldn't find the details anywhere. Now when I've opened my rides in the uber app, it is showing the fare for this last ride as Rs. 3395. Which forces me to believe that there's something fishy about Uber aps and their drivers. People using this service should be very careful. Drivers name was Ranjit Bhai. Guys let me know if there's any way to log a complain #uber #ubercabservice #poorcabservice

    Hi this is in regard to my trip yesterday the driver for wagon r Mr sitaram jat car no. 4151 overcharged me and when I showed him that I booked a Uber pool for rs 49 and he made me pay RS 185 and and when I resisted he threatened me and said he would call goons.and was abusive. hence I want my refund for RS 130/-

    I left my belonging in the cab on 15-06-17 and after no of calls driver finally answers nd giving weird reason that he is not getting any ride towards my place. He stopped answering my calls. I think he don't want to return it! Very very unprofessional behaviour! It's been close to 1 month, dint expect this from uber! Please do the needful!

    Your app has charged me incorrectly. I haven't requested any ride for Friday but I have been charged RS.100 as an outstanding charge. Please refund my money back otherwise I'll​have to complain further. You can't charge your premium client like this. I mistakenly clicked Uber app and a ride get selected and when I tried to cancel it, it didn't got cancelled.

    Dear Team,

    Yesterday we took an uber ride but it happens to be the most annoying ride wth Uber ..I am simply jotting down all the negative response form the driver who was in charge of the ride..

    Firstly,we took the ride from Princep Ghat to Belghoria..The cab arrived but we were previously unable to call him as his number was unreachable..When we traced the car with the number,and approached him,he with a negative tone and gesture told us why we are not picking up the call..WE have not received any of his calls and we showed him the same too..

    Secondly,after getting inside I myself closed one of the car's door..He again in a very negative approach said that why can't I close the door softly..

    Thirdly,as we were all exhausted after the hectic schedule,we felt  very hot and humid and asked the driver to decrease the temperature of the ac..He said that the temparature is already at 2....3-4 will make the temperature very cold and that too in the most unprofessional way ..My question is who will decide what shall be the temperature of the AC???


    Fourthly,one of my friend asked to switch on the radio or music system.TO which again the arrogant driver replied that the music system was not working properly..But after sometime he himself switched on the music ..

    Lastly,the route which he took was not directed in the map..though the charge was same..

    This kind of unprofessional river will spoil the entire image of Uber as a brand..I want serious steps against him to be taken..His name is Prasenjit..

    I am really disappointed by uber i usually travel mazgoan to bandra and bandra to mazgoan but offlate the charges shown by uber are twice more than any normal cab earlier I used to pay between 170 to 200 which I also pay when I take normal black and yellow cab now the price shown to me by uber is between 245 to 280 sometimes even 300 and m fed up of complaining there is no response from ur side if this issue isn't sorted I will delete uber and download OLA

    the driver came and asked where my destination was, I said Gurgaon. He said he doesn't wanna go that side so i had to cancel my this uber and re book again for the same destination. and i was charged an amount of Rs. 42. He came and left. I had no other option but to cancel and rebook.

    I book a cab from sector 26 Chandigarh to baltana(Zirakpur).I told the driver sumit( 9256138084) that I am reaching 5 minutes.But he could not wait for 5 minutes. I have a new born baby.aap kehte ho isse apni hi gari samjho Kahan see samjhe jab aapke drivers me hi insaniat nhi h .... It was the worst experience and I will never book Uber again...

    I booked can driver say I am not coming I am too much far from you please cancel my booking I cancelled the booking then I received message of penelty of Rs 36.75.
    Again after five minutes I booked cab
    Same story driver driver did not came.

    And imposed penalty of Ra36.75 again
    I'M not default

    Why will I encourage pool cars if your drivers take in 5 passengers in a small car?

    I traveled from Hyderabad Airport,Shamsabad,PIN 501218 to Srinagar-Kanyakumari Highway,Sai Nagar,Kompally,Hyderabad PIN 500014 in a TATA INDICA, Driver Mallesham.
    I got a fare estimate before the trip for Rs 1606. At the end of the trip as well as per the drivers phone the fare was Rs 1606. I paid same but i later got a receipt for Rs 52.50.
    You can check from the above pick and drop address the distance traveled cannot be for a fare of Rs 52.50
    I request you to please send me an amended fare receipt or refund the excess amount.

    Please do the needful.

    I have been communicating with various on my mobile app helpline but no one is giving me a solution.

    I need to have a fare receipt for the amount I have paid to get reimbursement from my company.

    This is with regards to my complaint for very unprofessional driver. I had booked a cab at Delhi Cantonment and spoke to the driver for pick up. He assured that he will reach with 10 mins as he was next to me location. He took almost 20 mins and while I was still waiting for him he did not turn up. Tried calling him several times but no response from his side. Finally after waiting and no response I had to cancel the ride and I was charged a cancellation fees in my next ride

    I had taken an Uber POOL ride last week and was charged Rs 199.51 for the same. I paid for the same vide my credit card for the same and it has been authorised by the bank as well.

    However, it continues to reflect as an Outstanding payment due inspite of the payment made, receipt received from Uber and confirmation from the bank that the payment is authorised.

    I have written innumerable messages to Uber through the Help which is completely useless.

    I have been a regular user but it seems very soon they will ensure I become a Non user.

    Better get your act together guys and help solve this immediately

    This driver claims that in Uber pool rides customers are not allowed to use air condition and is not switching on the Ac. I have tried explaining him however he says it's a rule and is asking me very rudely to get off the ride for no reason. Is this the quality of service Uber provides to their clients? Such a shame, I need this clarified and action ed right now as I am no fool to take this crap

    I was using uber apps for sometime but due to some miscommunication my account was blocked.Reason given that I was having 2 email addresses.Its common to have 2 email accounts mainly for recovery purpose.In fact Yahoo recommends this for above reason.So I fail to understand blocking my account for this reason.I am using OLA apps and I am not having any problems.Hope you understand my problem & allow me to use your apps at the earliest.

    Cab no MH46 N 1132 pathetic service driver dropped us in middle of journey and was demanding for extra fare there is one route showing from Mira Road to go to water kingdom his map was showing Borivali route and was extremely unprofessional driver we have ever dealt with please take some serious action against him.
