Being a paragon of holistic and inclusive education, St Xavier’s College, has rightly earned its reputation as one of the best educational institutions for Arts and Science in India. St Xavier’s college, one of India’s oldest educational institutions, has always fostered an environment for fruitful and rigorous intellectual thought and dialect and has shaped the finest young minds of our country. Many luminaries in the fields of law, journalism, business and cinema have been educated at St Xavier’s College. Our college has also played host to many distinguished people of our era, including world leaders such as Barack Obama, His Holiness The Dalai Lama, former President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam and former Secretary of State of USA, Hillary Clinton.

The Department of Statistics of Xavier's College has been conducting various workshops, events and activities, engaging students with courses and lectures which teach them useful skills which ought to be but is seldom taught in colleges. This year departments of statistics will be conducting an event which will comprise of 6 events namely Disputandum (debating), Bridge the Ridge (a variation of bridge tournament), Simulation (football management), Prima Facie (Quiz), Be My Guess-t (Guessing and Luck based game) and Stochastic (Stock Market Simulation). The event will be open to students from different backgrounds and colleges across Mumbai. Looking forward on having a fruitful association with your company.
