The Tamil Nadu State Co-operative Apex was originally founded to secure the lives of the farmers and provide them assistance for their agricultural endeavours since the past 99 years. The deposit products of the bank range from the basic accounts that include the savings bank account with a lot of free frills and an interest rate guided by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). There is no minimum balance of Rs 100 with cheque facility and RS. 50 without cheque options. Attached to it coupled with the fact that it offers a lot of services like locker deposits with nomination facilities, and an interest rate of 45 for deposits in the savings account with no tax deduction on interests concerned. A current account with TNSC can be opened with ease with a minimum balance of Rs 300 for individuals and Rs. 5000 for corporate and institutions.
