Hema Malini is an Indian actress, director, producer, and politician. She is primarily known for her work in Hindi films. Malini made her acting debut in 1963 with the Tamil film Idhu Sathiyam. Malini first acted in a lead role in Sapno Ka Saudagar (1968), and went on to feature in numerous Hindi films, frequently opposite Dharmendra, whom she married in 1980. Malini was initially promoted as the "Dream Girl", and in 1977 starred in a film of the same name. Known for starring in both comic and dramatic roles, she is among the most successful leading actresses of mainstream Hindi cinema.

Respected Madam,
While thanking you from the bottom of my heart for having taken up the issue of the long pending need of revising the Employees'Pension under the EPS for the retired employees covered under the EPF (MP) ACT 1952, It is with great humiliation and anguish, that I am forced to raise the problem that despite the on going agitation, your personal intervention and the supposed direction of the H'ble PM Sri. Narendra Modiji, the Union Labour Minister Sri. SK Gangawar proved to be insensitive and incompetent and did not take any action, and the issue yet remains unaddressed and the helpless old retired employees are left to the mercies of cruel society, who are dying without medical care and dignity in the evening of their lives.
While we will continue to support the BJP as the only nationalist party irrespective of our suffering, yet it is baffling for me as to why the government is insensitive to us and treating us as second class citizens, when we have directly contributed to the national ex-chequer and have through out our lives contributed to the pension fund, and there is a provision under the Act, and urgent need to revise the EPS pension which is as low as the maximum of Rs. 2,500 per month?
The government released the DA for government employees,( who get heft pension ) which is at 28 % of their pension, but neglected us.
The government is making us feel that we are second class citizens, less than the destitute widows who get better deal from the govt. than us.
We request you to raise the issue in this session of the parliament and see that the Koshiary Committee Report is accepted and implemented by the government under the new Labour Minister.
We cannot do anything at our stage of life except hoping that you will take up our issue and get us justice at the earliest.
