    Hi,

    I am Mangesh B. Khochare. I work in Lower Parel and live in Dombivali.

    Yesterday, on Wednesday 11/10/17, I reached the Dombivali railway station for my daily travel in the Mumbai local train to my office, but at that time there was no train, as all trains were (and usually are) delayed.

    One slow train that is scheduled to leave at 10.18 am (Thane local) was already 10 minutes late, it was on platform number 3.

    Another train on platform number 5 (A fast local) which departs at 10.34 am was also late by around 15 minutes.

    Given the delay and my urgency to reach my office, I decided to travel by the 10.18 am, Thane local.

    i thought I will catch the fast local from Thane, which is scheduled for platform number 7, from Thane to CST at 10.49 am.

    But due to the delay I only managed to reach Thane station and on platform number 3 the Thane fast local had already departed.

    So then I went to platform number 6 to catch the fast local at 10.46 am. I found out that this train was also late.

    Hence, given the multiple delays I decided to board the Pune-Mumbai passenger express, which was almost empty, so in order to avoid any more delay I caught the Express, since I have a 1st class local pass Kalyan to CST (Which I showed the TC).
    I was forced to board the Express, as if I reach my office after 12 pm my half day gets cut along with my salary.

    When I got down on Dadar platform number 6. A TC named: Sajid Dharme, Batch No. 152, caught me and he argued with me rudely.

    I requested and informed him that I don't do this daily (Traveling on the Express) just on Wednesday, as all the local trains were delayed and I absolutely had to reach my office before 12 pm.

    But he didn't listen to my request and he said to me that if the train is late then you don't go office only.

    I said to him that many a times many other passengers also can't catch the local train, because the doors/entrance to coach gets blocked due to the large number of passengers already traveling inside the coaches.

    Daily 2-3 people lose their lives due to the rush and disorganised nature of the station. It is very bad and extremely dangerous.

    Some local and probably many 2nd class passengers also illegally travel in the 1st class compartment. Specially on the 9.55 am train, it has 15 cars/coaches and travels from Kalyan.

    Out of the 15 cars, one whole car is reserved for 1st class passengers, but even in that more than 50% of the passengers are either 2nd class passengers or ticketless.

    For the same there no action that is taken against them (they get down at thane, so no once catches them).

    Why is there no action taken against them?

    Even Railway Staff CRMS who carry an official card inside their shirt pocket (displayed half) to people, travel in first class.

    As per the rules they are not allowed to travel in first class, but they do so illegally.

    The TC said that they (CRMS staff) is not our responsibility and he the proceeded to charg me Rs. 340.

    I believe that this is incorrect and due to delays from the Railway's part I was charged Rs. 340 incorrectly, I also happened to be late for work and my half day was cut.

    Request you to place look in to this and investigate, as a customer of the Indian Railways, I believe that I have been wronged and would like to be compensated for the fine.

    Trains running late by Avik Bhattacharya:

    Trains in Central line always run very late throughout the day. Not a single train run on time. Also most of the passengers are uneducated and are likely thugs or criminals. People don't know how to stand in queues and board and get off the train without pushing.
    This is the case with all Indians irrespective of region religion or city. Indians are a filthy people with no sense of decency or courtesy. This is the truth, and it would be best if we accept it.

    I have observed that daily Badlapur Fast local which is scheduled to leave Mulund at 07:03 am, leaves before 3-4 minutes. I have reported this to Mulund station manager also. However still no change.

    My name is Kavita Javheri. I stay at Kalyan. Today, I boarded 8.34AM train from Kalyan to CST. Train took almost one hour to reached Mulund and Train reached Bycualla at 9.58. Its actual time to reach at Byculla is 9.27. Yesterday, also same thing happened with me for the same train. We, the passengers of train have to reach office on time. Because of such difficulty I faced two late marks in the office and even I didnot get seat, so I was came standing till byculla. Please understand people you travel from the local in peak hours.

    Entry and exit points of Parsik tunnel are full of garbage if the train stops at these points it is disgusting. Open drainage smells very bad.please do something

    This morning when I tried boarding a train at Borivali station - 7.43 Churchgate fast 1st class towards ladies second class ladies standing on the door didn’t allow me to entered rather when I tried cathching the rod they push me off
    Train was not so crowded, in fact 2-3 ladies got down at Borivali
    It’s really very sad to face this kind of people while starting your day

    I am traveling from NallaSopara to Andheri from 7:26 am. Train starting station is Nallasopara, but when train is coming from yard its already full packed. there is no space for NallaSopara people.

    and also to many people running in FirstClass coach without firstClass ticket. spacialy between Nallasopara to Vasai Road.

    Please Do the needful ASAP.

    Ticket counter issue at khandeshwar station by Dipali Naik:

    This is an ongoing issue at khandeshwar station there are huge line for tickets seeing this also the employee at the ticket counter do not go ahead and open a third counter to address the huge line.Today I had to stand approximately 30 mins in queue to get my pass done. Even after requesting at the counter they did not do anything to make the work quick. Please make them little human and sensible. This needs to be taken care of

    Musjud Bunder Station..On both central and harbour there is no roof between platform cover and exit stairs. All people stand in shade to avoid bright sun and rush when train arrives a likely cause of accident. It will be a bigger problem once rains start. Please put a roof over our heads.

    Traveling in Ladies First Class without a proper ticket by Manasi Pradhan:

    A lot of ladies travel from First Class without proper ticket and without any fear of getting caught. If we try to inform them that the ticket checker may come and check their tickets they argue with us stating that ticket checking never happens. This has caused a lot of inconvenience to other travelers. It is my humble request that the authorities look into this matter at the earliest.

    I have took train from Ghatkopar plat form no 4, 10.24 AM, the issue is there was 3 man get inside with me in the last 1 class towards vikhroli and start misbehaved with me, they told me that i have wet tee shirt and keep your beg down and dont listen music [i was listing with ear phone] then they started that we are member of board of railway, we will see you. in the whole journey they irritated me and i said sorry to them. They got down with me at Dadar but they do nothing. I know one man he was wearing sky blue shirt. He is the man person who argued with in whole journey. can you please tell me that i have did any mistake in train? waiting for your reply on this..

    Dear Sir,
    The local for 0719 hrs to Thane was cancelled and one at 0743 hrs was delayed at Panvel and departed at 0752 hrs.
    I have got 01 hour delay attending my office.
    There was no announcement for delay of Local in the evening from Thane most of the local are running late by 10 to 15 minutes and no announcements are made for trans Harbour suburban train at Thane why this step motherly attitude. I will be grateful if you can plan something to middle class commuter of Bombay life line. Thank and Regards

    Passengers throwing waste on track by Mayuri Nimbalkar:

    It's complaint against the commuters. People throw plastic and wrapes out side window. Regardless if warning they igonre. Their is no point in blaming government when water logging occurs , precautions should be taken by single individual citizen .
    Kindly make a rule and charge heavily for those who throw things on tracks and out of the train .
    Humble request to pass a rule.
    Apply Warnings inside the train and on platforms.

    Why alyways central train are always be late and specialy slow train almost 25 to 30 minits every day.
    And in morning why you guys starting train from kalyan but it will be always full from upside
