This Gopinath Bordoloi airport is the worst airport I have ever been to. During my flight from Guwahati to Silchar, it was a horrible experience for me . First there was a very long queue in the baggage scanner area which was very similar to a queue in a fish market. There were long queues everywhere. The staff, and other officials were very inefficient.The flights were delayed. The washroom was very unhygienic. It was not like that before but it seems like conditions have deteriorated.

Wanted to bring to your attention the harassment faced by me at Guwahati airport while traveling with my 1.5 years infant and wife.
1. There was no special assistance queue for security check which is available all across the world to cater r to senior citizens, passengers with infants and physically challenged. I had to request the duty officer and get an approval from the airport manager to let me skip the 2 hours long security check queue. Why should I be begging for something which is a given at any other airport ?
2. By baby diaper bag was scuitized multiple times after taking out all its content even after mentioning that I was traveling with an infant. In fact I was not given any priority over any other passenger. Which is a must at all airports for passengers with infants. I was in fact asked to employ the bag for scanning while my infant was running around. I was advised by one of the security check staff that if I go to J & K they actually would strip me and check. Which I would say was ridiculously rude when said in Hindi.
I know that Guwahati is a sensitive area and extra precautions are taken. However that precaution should not be at a cost of harassment to passengers who need special assistance.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IT WILL TAKE TO GET THIS SPECIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PASSENGERS WHO REQUIRE THIS.

Respected authorities,
National Flag which is hosted out side of Guwahati air port is torn from one side (green). Which does not look appropriate as it is matter of whole national honour coz many people from other countries are also visiting this airport.please do needful at the earliest.

Not giving baggage tags by Dr chayanika:

I did a web check in so I deirectly went to security n in hurry I forgot to take baggage tags from the counter....in other airports there r baggage tags kept near the security check area...but in guwahati airport no such provision is there .....and the security guards there were scolding me for no baggage tags instead of giving tags....why can't they give it instead of creating so much fuss

I bought a veg patties from ZESTO, inside the airport which was even worse than the patties available on the road side. Also, after washing my hands in washroom, I had to dry my hands in handkerchief since the dryer was not working.

My baggege containing some valuables documents of my father in original who expired on 27.10.17.
So it will be much helpfull if you kindly do the needfull to get back the same.
In this regard I would like to inform you that I informed the matter to JET AIRWAYS as soon as I noticed it.

Hi. I am belongs to Assam. But I feel shame when I entered washroom in airport in front of B gate . I was travelling so many places . So I do understand . When we get down in a new place and we went for freshen up . We get a positive sing from that place about that new place . So it need to be proper clean . But Assam airport very much dirty . Thus we fail to show our beautiful Assam to the people on demand . Small things but effect very strong .

This was our 1st ever flight. We don't know the formalities. In check-in time, women at counter told us to drop our mobile & laptop in a box..we did..then we were waiting for her instructions but suddenly she scolded us and raise her voice. She told: why aren't you put it in conveyer.... we did not say a word there because we know it was wasting our time.
So,I request you to kindly teach your employees how to behave with new users. Not every body is familiar with these formalities.
