Madras Talkies is one of the very renowned and famous
Indian entertainment companies. It was established by the director Mani
Ratnam and his wife who is also a very famous actress Suhasini
Maniratnam as partners. It was established in the year 1995. Madras Talkies,
Chennai is very famous for actively involved n the production of the
films and also television serials, which are distributed all over the
world. The headquarters of the Madras Talkies is in city Chennai, which
is in Tamil Nadu one of the metropolis of India. Chennai formally was
known to be Madras hence the name Madras Talkies came from.
The company till date has produced around famous and block buster’s
fifteen feature film and six television serials. Before the
establishment of the Madras Talkies in Chennai, Ratnam has served as a
film producer on several projects with Aalayam Production, with S.Sriram.
Through his own direction of the film “Iruvar” in the year 1997, Madras
Talkies made its own debut as Maniratnam’s official production Studio.
Most of the film from the Madras Talkies, Chennai is made in language Tamil and Hindi.
The Madras Talkies has given very famous and good films with excellent
direction to the entertainment and film Industry. It has in its film
many famous casting actors and actress like Mohanlal, Aishwarya Rai, Tabu, Suriya, etc, who all are not only famous personalities but are refined actors known for their work and skill in the film Industry.
