    Cleaning at gate 10 International departure by Ambuj:

    Good morning,

    At 19:30am some one dropped a burger and 2 glasses of milk shake in front of gate 10. Only an hour before the boarding time for Thai airlines going to Bangkok.
    There are three staff members at gate but no body called cleaner or covered the spillage to prevent any injury to passengers. I was told by gate staff that this not there job to clean when I asked them to call cleaner.
    Its 10:40 now and finally it's just been cleaned by a cleaner.

    I want to right this against GMR-DIAL staff specially for senior staff. They are not aware about the aviation sector its function, way to handle crowd, how to solve passenger problem.If GMR owner want to maintain his name in aviation sector need to replace their senior staff.     I called IGI airport enquiry call centre on 13th Oct'16 at around 3 p.m to enquire about my flight terminal. The call centre staff named RAViNDER was very rude and his tone was very unpleasent. Advice you to put him into rigorous refresher training as to how to talk to the customer in a polite way.

    Misbehavior of airport staff n costum officers by Swati goel:

    This is to kindly bring to your notice that behavior of the costume officers in delhi airport is extremely bad. My luggage was missed by emirates airlines while my travel from dubai to delhi. They send my luggage the other day ( 13th Jan 2016). The customs did not release the luggage. They did not call n informed us also. WE called them to inquire about our laggage only to found out custom officers have it. My husband went to airport. If any officer wants to check any luggage that is fine, as they are doing their duty. To harress my husband by picking out all ladies stuff in front of 10-20 ppl is unacceptable. Asking silly question like " why clothes t neatly placed in transparent plastics ?" is stupidity. Is concept of dry cleaning is so foreign them? If they find anything suspicious ask directly or take action with some decency. There is absolutely so need for unnecessary taunts n comments. The airport staff didn't even apologize for there mistake of leaving my luggage. They didn't even call to inform us about hold my bag.
    It's very disappointing to see educated officers behaving like illiterate n uncultured people.

    I have a question and could not find a toll free number. I am flying into your airport and have made a reservation at the holiday inn. I am coming from USA. My travel companion lives in Delhi. We are staying the night in the the room and then taking spice jet next day to destination. Is there somewhere he can sit near where plane lets people off so I can meet him easily?

    Received reply from Indra Gandhi Airport authorities where they have confirmed all my allegations at the same time have shamelessly given lame excuses to continue to support such daylight loot from public..
    My allegations in the complain were.
    1.) There is no drinking water point in entire first floor and ground floor food court and shopping area of many thousand sq. feet. (Confirmed in the reply )
    2.) Public is forced to buy Drinking water bottle in food court area. ( Confirmed in reply )
    3. Himalayan band (only monopoly brand being sold inside the food court area ) Drinking water bottle is being sold at exorbitant price of Rs. 50 for 1/2 liter. ( Confirmed in reply )

    As informed earlier, your communication was forwarded to the concerned team. We sincerely regret that your experience was not up to your expectations. Please be assured that we have closely reviewed the matter and a detailed examination of the complaint was carried out by the Operations Team.
    We would like to state that adequate drinking water points are available in Security Hold Area. Three water points are available in Security Hold Area departure level and two (2) water fountains are available at Boarding Gate area. Water facility at food court level is available through concessionaire on payment basis. It is not feasible to install drinking water fountains at food court due to space constrain.
    Management is carefully planning the following to meet the traffic demands & manage space constrain -
    1. Commissioning of T2 (to accommodate the enhanced load of T1D) is being done on priority, expected to be operational in the month of February 2016. Subsequently few flights will be shifted thereby reducing the passenger load at 1D.
    2. Expansion of T1D is in design stage; once finalized the project work will start soon, once completed it will give a complete new experience to our guests.
    Pricing of the packaged mineral water and Natural water (Himalaya) is ascertained by the manufacturer and is normally available in two different packaging. One is for traditional trade outlets and the other ones are called the institutional packs which are available for sale in special service outlets like airports, restaurants, theme parks, multiplexes, only. These institutional packs are not intended for sale in regular retail. We as an Airport operator make sure that F&B outlets do not charge more than the printed MRP.

    My british friends travelling to uk to kathmandu via new delhi at the time of transit staff were tell her to despot 30000 I manage to desposit 30000 to canara bank after release the british citizen for some time.
